Whitney Way Thore’s from My Big Fat Fabulous Life’s most recent Instagram picture is fueling rumors that she may have gone through with the weight loss surgery after all. The dancer found herself at an emotional plateau last season after her engagement was broken off as she kept wondering if she was thinner would her life be easier?
The Greensborough native has battled her weight for years and openly documented her journey on the TLC show. She revealed to fans during the first season that she had Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Symptoms of the disease can include weight gain and trouble shedding the pounds, but she never let the weight stop her from living her life, even when she was called names and felt defeated. She has kept dancing and encouraged others to as well.
Whitney has made a living off her No BS brand and has helped others like her embrace their newfound curves. But after her rough year and losing her fiancé, she revealed to the cameras that she really was contemplating going under the knife to take some weight off. She had never thought of this as an option before, and fans were worried about her mental state. Now a new picture of Whitney has surfaced on her Instagram, and fans have questions. Check out the post below:
The picture showed Whitney in a beautiful summer dress, looking around 70 pounds lighter. Fans were torn on whether or not she committed to the surgery, with some believing the dress was very flattering and hid all the right stuff. Fans also pointed out that she usually wears a sports bra and leggings, so the dress hides a lot more. But her face did seem thinner, and her arms more toned. But mostly, all of her comments were positive and told her she looked great. Whitney always had a knack for fashion, and fans are enjoying her looking happier.
While Whitney has not commented on whether or not she did get the gastric bypass surgery, fans will keep snooping through her social media to see if they can figure it out. It also looks like season 9 is in the works as she has officially moved back to her hometown and joined forces with her trainer, Jessica Powell. For all we know, a weight loss surgery could also be featured on My Big Fat Fabulous Life.
